Pastoral Visitors Group
Our smalll, loving and committed group meets monthly with Marcus, our Pastor and Alan Toombs,
to support each other as we visit those in particular need within our fellowship.

Carers Communion
This warm, friendly and caring group meet usually on the second Thursday of every month from 1.30-3.00pm and is aimed at everyone who has concerns for loved ones, friends or neighbours though not necessarily caring for them at home. There is time to share (optional) concerns, pray and share in communion together , followed by a cup of tea and chat. Do come if you are able-a warm welcome awaits

Communion for those Bereaved
This small loving group meets bi-monthly usually on the 3rd Thursday from 2.00-3.30pm for a quiet reflective time of communion together and is aimed at anyone who has lost loved ones at any time during their lives. After communion there is the opportunity for a cup of tea and chat. You are warmly welcome to join us

Games Afternoon
This is open to everyone to enjoy a light-hearted afternoon of Board games such as Quiddler,or Scrabble and numerous card games and bingo! It is held on the first Friday of every month from 2.00-4.00pm with cups of tea and biscuits! A voluntary donation of 50p is appreciated. Do join this friendly group and enjoy a happy afternoon together!

Connect
This is a group for ladies of all ages!!! We plan together a six month programme of various events both secular and those encouraging us in our walk of faith such as monthly walks, visits to places of interest such as NT Houses and Gardens, theatre trips, Reflective days at Ladywell together, Breakfasts at Jack Phillips with speakers and restaurant meals to name but a few! The idea is to come along to those events that personally appeal and it is a great way to get to know each other better! Please do request a programme of our events from our Church office.

Holiday At home
A great team of people organise this 2 day yearly event in August for those of more senior years in our local community to enjoy delicious home cooked lunches and brilliant entertainment and participate in numerous activities such as craft, a quiz, keep-fit, sing-a-long, bingo and more!!! Do contact the Church Office if you or someone you know would like to join us this year on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd August from 10.00am-4.00pm. Cost £7 per day and transport can be arranged if necessary.

Library
We have a well-stocked Library of Christian books to encourage us in our faith journey and also books dealing with many life situations that we may have to face. Books may be borrowed by signing them out and returned by signing them in again in our red Book! The Library is open during term-time weekday mornings (subject to letting availability-please phone Reception to check-01483-414544 to check) and after the Sunday service.

Meal Ministry
A wonderful team undertake to bring a delicious home-cooked meal to those in pastoral need. This is such a Christian witness of love in action!

Ark On Sunday
This group is aimed at mums and dads with babies, toddlers and pre-school children and meets usually on the first Sunday every month from 10.30-11.30am. There is gluing, painting, drawing all linked to a Bible story and free-play and refreshments and bacon butties!! we finish with singing and lots of musical instrument playing!! Do come and especially dads you can see your children in action and enjoy the bacon butties too!!!
